Whoever thought of marrying up high tech devices and furniture really thought that they would have a hit on their hands. But this is questionable for sure. Take, for example, the Sonic Chair, which looks like a giant round speaker. It has a 20-inch touch screen iMac, plus an MP3 jack included and the whole effect is that the person is sitting within a speaker.

Made from leather, suede and micro fiber, plus the stainless steel body and support leg, this surely looks like something out of the future. However, it will cost in excess of $10,000 if it ever hits the market so who would buy a chair like this?
Now for the bizarre but true category; A German, who originally was developing a way to grow vegetables from worm excrement in the desert, has turned his attention to paint.

He has come up with a paint that is not visible to radar screens. This could be used for tanks and warships of course, but some are hoping to use it on buildings, at airports too, so that they ‘disappear’ from radar screens, and there is less traffic on the screens.

He developed this AR 1 paint (anti radar) without a laboratory at his disposal and he merely commented that it was his ‘pet project’. The stealth paint, as it is now being called, has made the authorities sit up and take notice. This man must be destined to become super rich in the near future for sure.
