The Bluetooth Mouse is wireless and can be used for about 20 to 25 feet away from the system. This makes the Bluetooth Mouse unique and it comes under the luxury class of electronic gadgets. The problems faced by user in normal mice is that sometimes, the wire gets stuck somewhere and the movement is not very smooth. But in the Bluetooth Mouse these problems are overcome with Bluetooth technology. From the time Bluetooth was introduced, it is being implemented in almost all devices. Thus the Bluetooth Mouse evolved.
Bluetooth in general is a wireless network. Data and voice signal are transmitted without the use of wires. In Bluetooth Mouse, the mouse consists of the Bluetooth transmitter and the system requires having Bluetooth receiver. When a button is pressed on the Bluetooth Mouse, the electrical signals are converted into digital signals and the Bluetooth transmitter transmits the digital signal. The Bluetooth receiver in the system receives the digital signal, and decodes the signal to the button pressed and provides the corresponding output. But before that, the Bluetooth Mouse and the system must be connected in a wireless network in which the mouse and the system must identify each other. In same way Bluetooth Mouse can be used to type on several systems at the same time, by connecting a number of systems in the Bluetooth network.
