Musical gadgets

For anyone who has longed to play an instrument, but without the talent or patience to learn, there is a great little innovation that will be launched onto the market soon. Easy Piano is a cute little machine that is a peripheral for the DSi Lite lets the user play like a professional with 40 songs pre-programmed.

It also has the capability of allowing the user to record four 3 minute tunes of their own making. This is surely a clever way to get people interested in learning on a full octave, eight note key-board. No prices out as yet but should be in the near future.

There is also another clever little gadget, though expensive, that has come onto the market and that is the automatic violin. It sits atop a sconce and the bow magically draws itself across the strings and plays a tune.

At around $18,000 this is surely not a toy, but it does go to show how innovative inventors can be. This is a great conversation piece for those who love music and a wonderful gadget for showing off at gatherings too.

Lastly, there are some great speakers that allow the user to ‘see’ the music by reacting to the sound levels. The material used in the speakers is water that will jump and bubble according to the level of sound.

Called Spica Speakers, they are still in the concept stage, but this reminds people of the lava lamps so beloved since many several decades ago.
