Bought this to replace an MSI Starcam which I have had for a few years (still working just wasn't happy with the colour reproduction). This Trust one is definitely better. The colour is much more natural in both daylight and artificial light (the MSI one only seemed to like low energy bulbs for some reason otherwise the colours were really weird). Even with low energy bulbs or daylight everything looked a bit washed out on the MSI. No such problem on the Trust. The Trust one clips nicely on top of my TFT monitor and also picks up sound pretty well for vid calls on Skype. Comes with lots of bundled software but I really just need it for Skype and it works well with that. Recommended.

I purchased this webcam for my son at uni to replace a very old one. The quality is excellent and we can now talk and see him regularly in a image quality that is well beyond our expectations !. I have purchased other items from memorybits for for a number of years now and their service is excellent too!

Most review I read about the products on this website all seem to be ads written by Memorybits themselves. I am looking to perchance a new webcam but can’t find an honest review to any of the products.

Having bought the Trust eLight HD 720p Webcam as a present for my sixteen year old daughter, she is very pleased with it indeed (and so am I). Not only does it provide an excellent quality HD image and associated sound, but also the light source is most effective in creating a balanced visual image with the minimum of fuss. From my viewpoint I like the fact that the electricity bills have reduced somewhat as a consequence of her not requiring the room to be awash with every lighting source available to her when making webcam calls. Also the telephone bills have diminished because this webcam now represents her medium of choice when contacting her friends..... A truly great product which has almost paid for itself already!!!!
